Bellerose Community Energy is pleased to offer and endorse a Community Solar program for our residents as part of our CCA program. The Program allows residents to subscribe to a share of a local solar farm on Long Island and go solar without actually having any rooftop panels on their home or property. Subscribers receive credits on their electric utility bill for the energy produced by their solar farm share. The solar developer provides these credits at a 5% to 10% discount, allowing subscribers to save up to 5% to 10% on their electricity costs.
There is no upfront cost and no long-term commitment – you can cancel your community solar share with no early termination fees or penalties – exactly the same as your participation in the CCA program.
